Mr. Trexler is the co-founder of Trexler & Zhang LLP and has over twenty years of extensive experience handling U.S. civil and commercial litigation, as well as cross-border legal matters. He specializes in representing clients in shareholder disputes, international-trade contract disputes, various types of civil and commercial litigation, debt recovery, tax litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, product liability cases, tort litigation, and business fraud matters. Mr. Trexler has successfully secured favorable judgments for clients in state courts of New York and New Jersey, as well as in federal district courts, earning the trust of clients from both China and the United States.
Mr. Trexler obtained his LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law, where he served as Graduate Editor of the New York University Journal of International Law and Politics. He obtained his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Mitchell | Hamline School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Law Review. Since he began practicing law in 2004, Mr. Trexler has gained considerable expertise in commercial litigation, bench and jury trials, international trade, tax, construction and real estate matters. He has represented individuals as well as a wide variety of business entities, and routinely obtains favorable results in courtrooms and closing rooms.

Mr. Zhang is the co-founder of Trexler & Zhang LLP. He has a solid background of legal education in China and the United States, as well as rich practical experience. He focuses on handling corporate shareholder disputes, cross-border contract disputes, commercial litigation, international trade disputes, and complex civil and commercial litigation cases. He is familiar with the U.S. judicial system and Chinese business culture, and is committed to providing professional, efficient, and reliable legal services to Chinese companies and individual clients in the United States.
Mr. Zhang received his legal education in China and the United States. He is familiar with the legal system of mainland China, and is qualified to practice law in New York State. He is skilled at communicating in both Chinese and English, providing clients with clear case assessments and strategic advice, and helping clients effectively respond to legal challenges in state and federal courts.
